CAU Medical School was launched in Fall 2019 according to the Presidential Decree dated Dec. 29th, 2017 to enhance the level of healthcare in Uzbekistan. In order to implement the Presidential Decree, the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan adopted a Resolution on Feb. 15th, 2019, which decided to collaborate with Gachon Medical School, one of the leading medical schools in Korea.
At CAU Medical School, students will learn the same course materials as those which students of Gachon Medical School are learning. Lectures and practices will be provided by experienced faculty members in modern educational facilities on the new campus. On successful completion of the whole curriculum, graduates of CAU Medical School will earn a Medical Doctor (MD) degree. After graduation, they can continue their internship and residency training at the University Hospital that will be built on campus in Fall 2023.

AKFA University launched Medical School in 2019. Students should complete the Pre-Medical School (two academic years) to be able to study in the Medical School. This program has two semesters every academic year and there is a total of 12 semesters. Education at the university is conducted in English. The graduates will receive a diploma in higher education.
